Dechlorinator

Is it okay to add dechlorinator (Seachem Prime) directly to the water as I am doing a water change.
 
Yes you can do either, add it to the bucket while it's filling and pour it in the tank that's how I do it I add a little bit to each bucket, but you can just put it in the tank, I choose to do a little bit in each bucket though that way I make sure the water is conditioned before I add it to the tank
 
I use the Python device to fill my tank from a sink, so I'm not using any buckets. I have an IR temp gun that I use to make sure the water is the right temp before filling.
