I am thinking of setting up a puffer only tank...1 puffer and that it, along with a completely aquascaped tank.Does anyone have any info on freshawater/brackish puffers?
The puffer you mentioned is more commonly called the mbu puffer. You would need a very large tank to support one of those puffers as they get quite large(30"). Ideally you would need close to a 1000 gallon tank since thay are very messy puffers when feeding. Here is an excellent link to some puffer species.
Also puffers do best in a fully cycled tank. Some puffers are also sold as FW when in fact they require BW/SW to thrive. Check the site I gave you and that should help get you started.
