i have a 10gal planted tank with red chery shrimp, about 5 ghost shrimp, 1 neon tetra, 1 glolite tetra, and 1 glofish. b4 doing my pwc tonite i spotted 4 egg sacks in mytank they are about the size of a pea and have about 10-12 beads in them. 2 are stuck to the glass and 2 are laying on the sand.
i seen 2 of the ghost shrimp caring eggs under there swimmets but they still have them and those beads are biger than the beads in the sacks. could it be possible that the neon and glowlite were breeding?

it could also be possible that you have bladder snails and there breeding those you need to kill and take out bladder snails will ruin plants and reproduce like crazy one day i found only 2 snails in my 50gallon tank 2 weeks later i had over 50 bought a yo yo fish and they took care of those pesty snails

No mystery snails in the tank? I wouldn't attribute the eggs to any of the critters you listed.

Well I can guarantee it's not the red cherry shrimp or the ghost shrimp.

you could have had some hitchhikers (snails) in your plants, id get rid of the eggs right away if you dont want snails in there

do the eggs look like this http://lh5.ggpht.com/_ECm-8VLXdBI/RXHl7RKiNbI/AAAAAAAAAT4/15tQAipb6zI/PICT5286.JPG if so they are "bladder snail" eggs.Bladder snail is a nick name given to the do the the bladder shaped dots on there shell there also known as hitch hiker snails pest snails and they come from plants fish or anything else that has been in another tank. the snails look like this Bladder snail eggs image by Blue_076 on Photobucket http://www.weichtiere.at/images/weichtiere/schnecken/p_acuta1.jpg if u find some kill them fast the best way i found that kills them fast are yo yo loaches people say they kill shrimp to but i haven't had one kill a single one of my cherry crystal red shrimp.Since i toss in brine shrimp for them to eat but honestly its a risk i would take due to the fact that they will destroy ur plants and reproduce in filters to gloged mine up 1 yoyo loach is fine for a 75gallon tank.heres a few pics of them http://www.thinkfish.co.uk/fishimages/2105_pakistani_loach.jpg

i have mts and a ramshorn or two. could it be from them? sorry i forgot to mention that b4

MTS do not lay eggs, they are livebearers. Ramshorns do indeed leave eggs; they tend to be in round (but very flat) blobs about as wide around as a pea or a marble, and they like to lay them on very flat surfaces--often on the aquarium glass itself, or else on flat rocks or leaves in your tank.

It sounds like that's what you might have--ramshorn eggs.

ok from the pics that vic has shown me i dont have rams horns i have bladder snails im gona be killing snails for the next few mins thanks guys very helpfull

no problem glad i could help.Hope you can get rid of them before they over populate.
