I've had one female auratus in my tank for over 3 months and about a month ago i added a male. The male is still smaller than the female and the female seems more dominant. She chases him off and corners him near the filter intake and heater. She also digs caves a lot. My question is, will they ever decide to mate? Maybe once the make gets larger? Or does she not find him suitable?

I have a 37g tank with three other cichlids (different breeds).
