filter getting clogged

The filter in my 25l tank keeps clogging up. I have to clean it every day. So I reckon I need a better filter - have you any suggestions for this small tank?

I'm not sure what kind of filter you have or why it is getting "clogged." I have a 5 gallon hexagon tank that I keep snails in for my soon to be dwarf puffers. I've always been preferable to sponge filters for small tanks.

It's a 25l filter but it gets clogged with 'gunge'. Plant matter I think.

You can try a few things - put a sponger/pantyhose/something similar to stock the plant matter from entering the filter.

If this is happening consistently you might want to explore why your plants are shedding as they are. Do you have enough light? Ferts?
