Need help stocking my tall tank.

110 Gallon Xtra High (48inches x18inches x30inches)

Hatchets hang out at the top portion of the tank. They're jumpers though so you would need a tight lid for them.

Hi Bubble_Boy! IME with silver dollars they can get fairly large (small dinner plate size) and they usually swim at top or mid level, mine swim back and forth constantly like a schooling fish so I'm not sure they would do good in extra tall. I have mine in a 90g long tank! Hope this helps! :)

Most of the rift lake cichlids that I've had utilize all areas of my aquariums. There are exceptions though, like the shelldwelling species.

I agree, Silver Dollars do better in long aquariums rather than tall ones.
