Fish less tank cycle!

I just set up my 2 gallon mini tank. I have decided to cycle this one fish less that way no fish gets harm in the process and at the end, all the fishes are happy. So I really need tips on how to do this fish less cycle.
I added tap water and prime to it, and API quick star. This will help me learn for future tanks on how to be patient and the procedures to do a fish less cycle.

If you want to do it as a science project great but really is a waste of time in a tank that small. I am guessing you are only going to add one fish and when you do it will go through a mini cycle just as if you hadn't done a cycle at all. Do your water changes every few days and no fish will get harmed. a WC every few days will have to be done weather you do a fishless cycle or not.
