Fish not "waking" up?

I just got some German blue rams. In the morning when I turn on the light, all my other fish except my rams. It takes then close to 20 mins before they even start moving around. I don't have time to wait for them because I have school and I have to leave like 10 mins after I turn on the light. Any tips? Should I change my feeding times? If so when? Any tips for getting them to wake up?

Well... either feed them when they're awake... or get a timer and have it come on an hour before you plan to feed.

I feed mine in the evening when I get home. Just a personal preference. Then I feed a little more right after I turn out the lights so my Rafael Catfish will have something to eat when he wakes up at night.

When you get home would make more sense in this case. Thats what I do as well.
