Founder, fresh or brackish?

If anyone saw my thread about BBG's, well it's a lot like that. But this time I'm not sure which tank he should go in. Are these guys fresh or brackish? I'm leaning towards brackish. What I've read says they're found in both, but brackish is better.

Well, they seem just like BBG's, they can survive in fresh for a while, but long term only brackish.

I've found nothing but mixed info as well. Even this site:

How to keep freshwater flounders, Archirus lineatus, with pictures

leaves me confused as to whether they are fresh or brackish. There is one called a thai tongue fish. Would love to have a shoal of those. Just not willing to set up anything but freshwater atm.
