Freezing cucumber?

A few weeks back someone told how they froze cucumber. I'd like to try freezing it but don't remember how they did it. Such a waste to get this big cucumber and waste a good amount. Any ideas? Thanks

Just cut it up into slices. Wrap them individually in tin foil and slap them into the freezer. Thats what i do.
