my ghost shrimp just laid eggs in a live plant. will they survive on their own in my community tank? do i need to separate or perhaps isolate them?

your eggs will probably disappear within hours, unfortunately. Everyone loves fresh eggs. Its the Premier snack of an aquarium!

I wish I had that problem to worry about. My keyhole cichlids ate all my ghost shrimp.

You could try netting the eggs, or take the entire plant, and put it into one of those little breeder boxes. I'm not sure if the baby shrimp would go through the mesh.
