Glo barb problems

I've got a 55 gallon community tank with a variety of barbs, platys, roselines, plecos, and gouramis. However, I've had absolutely no luck with glo barbs. They all keep dying on me. The other barbs are perfectly fine. Do they need something that I'm not providing? Please help! I do like them but I can't seem to keep them alive.

Genetically modifying a fish is nothing new, but this is a recent introduction on the Puntius tetrazona. Perhaps they have not mastered the process with this particular fish. That's just a wild guess...

Come to think of it, I'm more inclined to believe you got a bad batch. If you're still interested in keeping them, wait a little while and then try them again. Going to a different fish store will most likely not help as this particular fish, at the moment, is most likely being captive-bred at the same location.
