So I think I'm kind of ruling out getting rummynose tetras, just because of some of the recent posts I've seen about them, and i really don't want to pay for 25 of them to see half of them die.
Neons are nice, but I was thinking it would be nice to have something a little different (and besides, they can be a little sensitive too I suppose)
I still am aiming at having a peaceful community, so don't want anything too aggressive like serpae's or black skirts.
Anyone got any ideas?
I like the look of both Cochu's Blue and Kerri Tetra's, but
A) don't know how they will look against a dark substrate/background (although it will be a planted tank at some point!)
B) don't know too much about them except they look nice!

Have you considered diamond tetras? They're interesting looking and not too expensive. They're what the fish store suggested I start my new fish tank with.
