Should I hook up a heater to the QT tank? I was just thinking, I don't have one on it and I don't know if my otos will be OK in colder water for QT. It is probably about 76* in there, my other tanks stay at about 78 without the heater since it is summer time. But I have the AC on a lot as well.

As long as the temp is pretty consistent around 76, then you shouldn't need a heater. I'd put a thermometer in there for a few days and see if the temps swing. If not, then it should be fine.

Good point below. However, I figure you can always run out and get one should you find you need to raise the temp for any reason.

Yep, I agree with MG, QT tanks are used as defense and treatment, heat it well as ICH and other crap can survive in water under 88 degrees. My Qt tanks are 5 degrees warmer then my main tanks, My Qt's are set at 92 degrees while my main tanks are at 87.5
