but first things first, does he have test kits? is his tank cycled and toxin levels low? etc

Been up for about 3 months. Found problem. Never got a heater!!! Effexting his slime coat i guess (another friend told me)

or maybe he got in a scrap with another fish that happened to my cichlids everytime they fought each other

Looks like bud didn have a heater!!!! I gave him a heater and aqua salt, good as bew!
