Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with a URL, or maybe a first hand experience on how to seal a leak in a 55g. Yesterday I was forced to go out and buy a new 55g, too bad it wasn't 1$ a gallon month.;(
Thanks fishy folk!

Strip all the old silicone off, wipe it down with alcohol, make sure it's nice and clean and dry, apply new silicone, (aquarium safe) allow it to cure according to directions. Make sure you do it in a WELL VENTILATED area.

Sent from my iPhone that doesn't like me. Or you !!

First hand experience: DO NOT stick your head IN the tank while sealing! haha

Is it a major leak or a pinhole one? I had a pinhole leak and ran new silicone over the old silicone, making sure to clean it with acetone and touch glass on either side. Wherever it was sealed up perfectly and I'm watertight now. :)
