How to train koi/fancy goldfish/pleco to handfeed

I have always been fascinated when people hand feed their fish so i decided to give it a try. Any help/tips would be appriciated thanks!

Patience and time. My angels are hand fed but I did that from day one. None of my plecos care to come anywhere near me. I've never tried though. I have touched them though. That was about a month in the works. I would just put my hand by them every time I cleaned the tank.

I don think a pleco ever would, but how I hand train all my fish is the "starvation" method: the only food offered is what's in my hand. Pretty soon they figure out that your hand= food.

I have 2 half grown leopard sailfin plecos, a common and a tiretrack eel. I hand feed all 4.

It doesn't take to long just use foods that they like more such as frozen foods. My fish like frozen foods a lot more than pellets or flakes so choose your fish's favorite frozen food and try that then they will eventually take any food from your hand. It's not necessary but it worked for me.
