I've got one with a betta and plain white gravel. It's got a light blue painted back. I need some ideas on what to do with it because I can sit there and stare and absolutely nothing comes to mind. It has one of the tops that has the light and filter/biowheel built in so there's probably only a chance for low lights.
help?

My girlfriend's, right after it was set up. Has more plants now.

Unfortunately, the plants on the right (Dracaena S.) are not an aquatic plant. It will not survive long term in the tank. Eventually it will start to rot and could cause a spike in nitrates in the tank.

Fastfly, take a look at some of Purrbox's pics. She has a multitude of planted small tanks that might give you some great ideas.

Yes, we discovered that within a week or so. Last time I bought plants that weren't sold out of a completely submerged tank. Took them out and put in some swordplants right away.
