Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hello guys and gals
As you may or may not know, I have a 2.5 gallon aquarium and I do know that that is a little bit small but this is for a college dorm. I was thinking of some lighting for the thank. Because If the size of the tank I am having a bit of trouble finding a valid system of lighting. I found some light bulbs at petsmart but does anyone know where I may be able to fins the actual socket for the light (what gives power to and holds the light bulbs? wattage?) there are live pants Any DIY ideas? I also I was curious about the cycling progress of my tank. (thought I would kill two birds with one stone so to speak.. My ammonia levels are at almost zero. But nitrites are high. I am doing water changes. How long do you suppose it will take to finish the cycle. If I have no ammonia it means the first set of bacteria is in correct? Does it typically take a while?
I thank you greatly for your attention in this matter,
