Lights on?

I have to go away for a day or two and all our stores are sold out of light timers........
Is it better to leave the lights on or off for a day or two?

I'd leave them off. It will allow the fishies to rest more easily.

Off for sure. Fish don't need light, just ambient light will give them the day/night cycle they need to rest. If you have live plants, 2 days without light won't hurt them.

As already mentioned leaving them off is fine. You can also find timers very cheaply at places like Home Depot, Walmart, etc.
