Looking for Discus advice !!!

I'm thinking about going with discus in my planted tank, but all I know is that they like warm water and soft water. Anything else that I might be missing ??? Like compatible fish ?

More discus! Just kidding. Tetras. Something nice and small that can stand the temp. I might just do discus myself.

Rummynose tetras are a great compliment to discus and good dither fish. They can take the higher temps as well.

Maybe 4 German blue rams
