I just looked at my breeder trap very closely for the first time in a few days, been very busy with school and hadn't the opportunity. And I noticed one of my Platy fry was missing! I removed the decorations and nothing in there but 2 Fry and some tiny snails. I had three, one of which might be a swordtail fry from the previous month. Now one of them is gone! The larger one seems to small to eat the other, could it have died and been cannibalized by the other two?

Yes. It is quite possible that one died and was eaten.
