So I was looking for a gravel solution that was gonna be the least expensive possible solution. I came up with the idea of going to my local landscaping company and checking out the decorative gravel. I found, to my delight, some medium sized river rock gravel. According to the guy there they sold it by the cubic yard. It was $65 for a cubic yard. I asked about what the equivalent was in weight and he said about 2700 lbs! Omg I didn't need that much. So i asked what 100 lbs would cost me. I walked out with a 5 gal bucket full of gravel for a whopping $5 bucket included. Now it had to be washed and even then my water is dirty as €@$! But the dirt should settle in a few days time. And I got my substrate for $5. :)
