I had never heard of angelfish locking lips like this before. Is it normal? I only have two small ones in a 10g tank, I bought them very young. One looks pretty fat like it might be pregnant.

Thoughts?

That's what I was thinking too, but 95% of the time they are fine, swimming together without any issue. Every once in a while the smaller one will nip at the larger one, but nothing too long. This was the first I've seen them do this.

The "kissing" is a way to test their mates (if opposite sex) it is generally done in the last stages of angels breeding.
