My rainbow is now deformed?

I have a tank of australian rainbows (different varieties). One of my turqouise is now deformed and looks to be paralized. He swims very slowly and can't swim with his tail properly. I've had him about a week and he was fine when I bought him. Any idea what could have caused this?

he could have broken his spine, best to unthanase him if he is not doing good at all.

I bought him last tuesday so I actually just returned him to petsmart and got another turqouise to replace him. The girl there said it looked like he has some internal infection. I'm glad I got him out of there.
