Please post any optical illusions that have occurred in your tank. They might be real helpful to the rest of us.
I thought I might have a new sick fish. I posted. There is a red patch behind the gills. Next day I checked and it was gone. Today it was appearing on him when he was in his fav spot in the tank and would disappear when he moved to the surrounding plants.
Optical Illusion: light passing through the red band of the thermometer cast red light on him making it look like he had a red patch
