Im after OSCAR advice im wanting to add a juvenile oscar and a asian upside down catfish thats 18cm
Is this possible ?
Also what substrate, filter, ornaments, aquascapibg is needed?!

You're gonna need a big tank for both of them. At bare minimum 75g.

Sand for substrate and whatever decorations you want.

Lots of filtration so either a canister filter or 2 HOB filters.

I've kept several Oscars over the years. All were very mild mannered and colorful. They do grow large and thick with a very big mouth capable of eating 3" tankmates when full grown.
Of all the larger cichlids, my Oscars were the dirtiest, requiring larger and more frequent WC's.
I have no experience with the noted upside down catfish.

Oscars are very messy and consider playful. They are called water dogs because of their personality. I would do either a bare bottom tank or rocks (Gravel) because the oscar would make a mess with sand. Live plants wouldnt work so you would have to do silk woth a weighted base and they need a large filtration because they are messy fish.
