I have 2 pictus catfish that lie on the bottom as l beleive that these fish are a low level fish. My concern is that these fish become very active and chase each other and sometimes nose each other and they get so close that it looks like they will get tangled up in there whishers as they twirl around, are they playing with each other or is this a concern???

As far as I know, they are just playing. My guys do that all the time. At night, I can even hear the "catfish squeel" that they emit when they really go at it. I don't think they are fighting because they will lay an inch away from each other any other time. I've never seen damaged whiskers, or any kind of battlewound. I would say they're fine. By the way,

Yep, I concur.

My two do this all the time, so fast that I can't even see them! But they usually lay next to each other thorughtout the day under their log, so I don't think it is a problem.
