Hello all, new here and was wondering if anyone could help me identify this fish in my tank? I recently got the tank and he came with it. Sorry for the dark pictures, I took these on my phone, and I appreciate any help anyone could give me, thank you.

That was my first thought. Thus after the other's replies you can be sure that's what it is.

Just don't add more Gouramis unless your tank is big enough and heavily planted enough for a true pair. Most stores only carry males btw. Females are less showy. Shorter rounder fins, but still nice color.

Gouramis are cousins to Bettas so they may not like any other Gouramis.

Golds are peaceful to semi aggressive. Depends in the tank and the tankmates.

How big is the tank ?
