I'm new to Aquarium Advice. I recently bought Denison Barbs at Big Als(sold as puntius denisonii). They are around an inch and a half long. The red stripe starting from the head usually extends till the dorsal fin, it doesn't seem like it does for mine. but seeing as it is still a juvenile, I was wondering if the red stripe would extend as my fish matures? Could it be possible that I bought a puntius chalakudiensis instead of a puntius denisonii? I attached a picture showing one of them. Hope the quality is clear enough to properly identify it.
