60 gallon long. planted with driftwood. filtering with an ac110 and ac70. i treat with flourish and api co2 booster. should i use purigen instead of carbon? does either really work for tannins?

Well I use purigen in my 20g longs canister filter and I only have good things to say about it.
It removes all the tannins but you'll have to change it out more often. Just follow the directions on the container about how to clean it and then reuse it. In the long run it saves money. I really like the stuff! 
