I thing ther is like fresh water isolation it makes sence since common plecos can get as large as 3ft

I have witnessed common plecos attaching to fish on several occasions over the years. The common thread from case to case: the fish being "attacked" was in some stage of illness, and in nearly every case- the fish was on it's last "legs".
