Rainbow fish ID

Hi!! Does any body know what type if rainbow fish is this. I need to find him/her a mate.

Now this I'm not 100% on. It looks to me like a young male however I may be wrong on this one.
 
If its a praecox it is a female however I don't believe that it is a praecox. I've never seen them with the line down their body
 
One usually reliable way to sex rainbows is to check the length of the first dorsal fin. If when folded down it reaches behind the start of the second dorsal fin (as it does in your fish), then it's likely a male. As for species, it's definitely an Australian rainbow (member of Melanotaenia splendida complex), but is most likely of mixed origin (a hybrid).
