Reducing flow on my power filter

[Catfish Lover]

I have a 55 gallon and I'm using the fluval c4 power filter. My question is that it has an adjustable flow rate and I would like to reduce it to slow flow, will this have effect on my fish or plants? I have lots of anubias with a heavy load of wisteria as a floater. Current stock of fish is as follows..

9 cherry barbs
6 bloodfin tetras
11 albino Cory's
1 black molly
1 bolivian ram
1 bristlenose pleco
