I just got a Dragon Fish (Violet Goby) today. My mom had one and kept it in a 100 gal. along with a Pacu, and an Oscar. He lived for about 4 years, and at the time it dies, he was almost 12" long, and about the size of a 50 cent piece! I feed my bloodworms and brine shrimp. Also, I saw that they like a tad bit of salt in the tank. What kind of salt and how much would be added to a 10gal. tank??
I have looked at a lot of diffrent sites with info on these awesome fish. here is one link i found: http://www.whozoo.org/Anlife2001/johangus/jg_dragonfish.htm
i found that not all the sites are agreeable. there is a lot of inaqurate info!
I just found this site, and it contains a great deal of info on the Dragon!!! http://www.mongabay.com/fish/gobiidae.htm#Gobioides broussonnetii

My LFS has beautiful tanks, and even 1 dedicated to brackish with the dragons, columbian sharks, etc. Surprising that a pet store actually has a brackish tank. However they never, ever, seem to keep these dragon fish alive! All of their tanks are beautiful, and it's very rare to find a dead fish, yet every single time I go to the store there are dead or dying dragon fish in this tank. And all they do is keep buying more and more. Yet their columbian sharks are the biggest and healthiest ive seen in a fish store. *shrug* interesting fish though.
