Any good ideas on how to shrimp proof this so that it wont look bad?

you can crazy glue on some plastic needle point screen ,it comes in about every color
and it can be found in just about any crafts store.

That needle point screen will do absolutely nothing to keep the young shrimp out, will trap them when they grow up, and itll be impossible to get them out.

Imho, i would use a block of filter foam and create abpre filter for the pump. That will allow the shrimp safe passage as well as a place to hang out and not worry about getting eaten by anything else.

What if i take a filter cartridge and just use the cloth on that?

Also i was stupid and put water in it already and started the cycle so how should i attach it
