Would tiger barbs and angel fish get along?

I wouldn't try it. Tiger barbs are notorious fin nippers. IMO the long finnage of angelfish would just be too much for them to resist.

It's a common combination, works out fine most of the time.

If you got a pair of both no, they will be too territiorial to each other unless you are planning on
keeping them in a 4 foot tank.

And a four foot tank is what I have! Haha just got it set up today. so I could get just one pair of both? If so what other kind of fish could I have?

Pair of angels and pair of rams should be fine in a 4 foot tank IMO. Tank mates can include corydoras, small peaceful loaches, small pleco, tetras too large to be angel prey, etc. (not all at once obviously).
