I have a fully cycled 50g tank, primarily sand substrate (has some small smooth pebbles mixed in), live plants and a few "old ruins" decorations. Current inhabitants are a male flame dwarf gourami and a bunch of half grown guppy fry and 4 full grown guppy females. I already took the males out so they would stop reproducing. I would like to add some prettier, more visible fish to the tank without disturbing my gourami. Something that would eat guppy fry would be fabulous as my gourami won't do it. The tank is in my livingroom so I would love a "showy" fish. My ph is high (around 8.2) but steady. Would appreciate any suggestions on what would be appropriate to add to the tank. I have debated Angelfish, the local pet stores tanks are the same ph as mine, but would love some color also.
