What are some hardy, attractive fish that likes to be towards the top and also likes a strong current

I preffer fish that are not very dirty.

what size tank? what fish are already in with them? or is this for a new tank?

I love harlequin rasboras as a schooling fish. If you don't want a school, perhaps a species of gourami?

The only true top dwellers that are readily available around here are butterflyfish and hatchetfish. The butterflyfish mayl eat/attack small fish that enter it's territory so it's not really suited to the average community tank. Hatchetfish do best with little current.

Personally I love my rainbowfish. What size is your tank? The rainbowfish are beautiful and mine school at the mid-top level.

I have a 20 gallon high With a power head creating a top current the length of the tank (from corner to opposite corner)
2 Bolivian Rams
3 Corys
3 Ghost Shrimp
(what is the best stratagy for feeding the shrimp)
10" of fish
The tank is about 2-3 months old.

i would also recomend hatchet fish.. you just gotta be carefull when feeding or dong pwc, they tend to get spooked and jump..
