What other things could you use to make the water more acidic (that I will actually be able to get my hands on)?thanx
I use peat to lower the alkalinity. It gives the water a yellow tint, but I like the look, looks very natural. I've read of people using peat moss from the garden store but I am hesitant to use that. You can get it from your LFS. A cut off the end of a pair of my wifes hose and stuff the peat in it and float it in the tank near the filter return.
