Just verifying that I have my 75 gallon FW tank at the right temperature. My tank is set at 77 degrees. It never really fluctuates from that, maybe +/- 1 degree. All my fish seem to be thriving fine, but was just verifying does 77° seem like a good number for a community tank?
Danios, Cory catfish, rainbowfish, molly, angelfish.

I thought Danios likes cooler water as do some corys. What kind of corys

They do like a little cooler water, but this is a community fish tank, so there has to be some give somewhere. Emerald corys and albino corys. I was told Angelfish like upper 70's, almost 80 degrees.

I keep my albino corys at about 75 and they breed like mad.

I think so. Tropical fish can live in a range of temperatures between about 74-82 from my understanding.

I dont have heaters on my tanks in the spring/summer/fall.. Unless the temps get to 70f or below.. None of my fish have problems with fluctuating indoor temps ranging from 70-80f.

Except my discus tank of course.
