I have read 3 now, and this is by FAR the best. The only downside is they use cm and litres and not inches and gallons.... so have your calculator out. But as far as info on fish, this is AWESOME. Talks about color of substrate, pH levels, Temperature, Size, Behaviours, Breeding, Gender differences, what type of comparable fish, what type of plants and vegetation they are comfortable around.... its nice.

The Complete Encyclopia of Tropical Fish by Esther Verhoef-Verhallen

I recommend it highly.

What is your favorite book you have?

It's probably nothing special, but I like my "Freshwater Aquariums for Dummies" book :)

I like to have a book around just in case, because you can find a lot of bad bad information online. Book first, internet second :)

I like the Tetra Aquarium Atlas, its liek a 1000 pages of all kinds of useful info on almost every type of fish you would ever want to own, it goes over everything imaginable
