Too much filtration

So I currently have fluval 405 and a aqeon 55 ... I considering buying a 406 ... Will that be too much filtration? So there such a thing? And also is there a major difference between the fluval 405 and 406???

Whats the size of the tank you are wanted advice for? The differences between the 05 and the 06 will be minimal with afew small changes.

One of the first things i learnt was, no theres no such thing as too much filtration if youre able to defuse the flow so your fish arnt being forced around the tank by a torrent of water.

No such thing as too much filtration in my opinion. But with the terrible swimmers that parrots are you should be worried about the currents the filter create

You can never have to much filtration

But you can have to much flow if the tank is like a whirl pool the fish won't like it
