I decided to settle for a cheap 75g i found and im putting fish from my 55 into this tank. Do i have to cycle or could i speed it up some how? Like use same water or something?

Water won't help it cycle. Use the gravel and filter from the established tank.

You can always get some other filter media and put in the filter of your "old" tank, after a few weeks the filter media will have the right bacteria and then you can transfer it to the new tank.
That is what i should do.(i'm not sure about the duration that i said)

Turns out it was a another 55 gallon
but still a nice deal so the tank is cycling now with one of the filters from my established 55 gallon.
