A RODI with a chloramine canister would work too....pricey..but another possible solution.

True. Yes, pricey but an option. I will continue to monitor the tap water because the levels may be a seasonal fluctuation. The only time I detected ammonia > 0 in the tank (after cycling was complete) was after a 75% water change. Was 0.25 the next day and zero either later that night or the day after.
