Well, the lfs was a bomb, he was sure people hardly use diatom filters anymore- too one dimensional product and he would have to do some extra searching to see if he could get one of those ancient things.

But the magnum HOT by marineland(which he happened to have on the shelf) can pull double duty... blah blah, you know where im headed.

So the blackout is in effect(started at 10pm last night)

So I uncovered today, and water is ALOT better, its hardly crystal clear but can actually see everything in the tank. Any thing in particular I should do? I plan on doing a wc and starting back up on dosing ferts. Anything else? Thanks
