What is on or wrong with my crypts?

Hi everyone! Fairly new tank (2.5ish weeks old) and just have plants, some snails, and ghost shrimp in it while it's cycling. This brown stuff is on a crypt leaf, slightly on (Not as bad) a few Rotala leaves, and a little brown sand mixed within the regular PFS. What kind of algae is this? If it is any at all

It looks like diatoms to me. Does it rub off the leaves?

I have this too it's diatoms, I literally just took sterilized gauze and wiped down every leaf of every plant in my tank, what a nightmare lol
