What is this ?
I was viewing the internet a found a image that shows something my discus tank was suffering with.. I dont know what it is.
http://www.fishtanksandponds.net/liv...f-cichlids.htm Please scroll down Apistogramma Borellii. section were there are images. I am refering to the green stuff on the gravel. Please can some one tell me what it is and how to get rid of it lol.

looks like blue-green algae to me. You need to check your water for high phosphates/nitrates. Also, what plants are in your tank? Because reducing the amount of lighting will help - but may affect your planting.

It does look like [acronym:e1c770caea="Cyanobacteria"]cyano[/acronym:e1c770caea]. Does it have a smell to it? Is it slimy?
