Wierd growth on driftwood

Please, if anyone can help identify this on my driftwood? It appeared about a week ago, the water is good (0 amm, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate) heavily planted, the fish are happy, fully cycled tank been running for 3 months. 28 gallon, 2 fancy goldfish.

Any clues!? Reason I ask is I want to move this into our 66 gallon (got loads of algae on it) for the plecs but I won't if its going to be harmful.

It's not harmful it's an algae of some sort. I've had it grow a few times and it goes away for me

Nope I was talking about the beard algae lol however if it's growing in there it should be.fine

You could spot treat it with exel if you want it to go away. Not sure what it is though.

I just scraped what I could off. Difficult to see it out of the water. Hopefully it'll all be fine, like I said it was having zero effect on the water quality and fish.
