worms?

I was cleaning the substrate in my tank and I noticed that there are small hairlike creatures in my tank. They are reddish colored and they crawl across the pail like an inch worm. I also see them swimming around in the pail. I think they basically hide in the gravel and i thought they were fish waste when I was siphoning them up. i wouldn't have given them a close look except I have some baby fish hiding in the gravel as well so I took a closer look at the pail before I dumped it out. Does anyone know what they are?

Planaria maybe? If so, just make sure you don't overfeed and do some good gravel vacuuming.

The planaria description sound a lot like what I saw except these were red instead of white. I can try to cut back on the food for a bit but I have baby fish hiding in the gravel and until they are large enough to see clearly I may need to wait to vacuum the bottom.
